College Preparation Resources at the Library

Pasadena Public Library has a variety of programs and services to help you get into college, including:

LearningExpress database: Online practice tests for all kinds of exams, including the SAT and ACT, with a detailed analysis of your score and what areas you need improvement in.

Free Practice SATs and Test Taking Tips: Get an idea of what taking the actual SAT will be like! The more times you take the SAT, the higher your score is likely to be. Take a live practice test at the library!  See the links on the side for more information.

Foundation Grants to Individuals Online: Searchable database of grantmakers you could contact for financial aid. This subscription database is available on the computers at La Pintoresca Library or on your own computer using La Pintoresca's WiFi.  Ask staff for assistance.
